This pattern takes its name from the small island of Fair Isle, in the Scottish Shetland archipelago, where a tradition of knitting geometric patterns developed in the early 20th century.

The John sweater is knitted from a luxurious Italian yarn composed of 43% baby alpaca, 19% extra-fine merino wool, and 38% cotton. Remarkably soft, it offers the perfect balance of warmth, comfort, and breathability and can be worn from fall through early spring.
